Description
(Award: Canada Winners in the 4.5 to 5.5% ABV pale ale category at the 2019 World Beer Awards) A red ale, well-malted with notes of biscuits. APPEARANCE: A fairly clear amber-brown. Topped with a persistent, sticky head. AMBORIS: Caramelized malt and wafer biscuits with light chocolate notes followed by a subtle grassy touch. TASTE: Wonderfully malty, our tongue is enveloped by a range of aromas: cereal, barley sugar, wafer biscuits, chocolate malt, hints of caramel, and a pleasant residual sweetness. All of this is supported by a gently smooth bitterness that lingers on the tongue without being aggressive. The earthy aromas of English hops finally emerge at the end of the sip.
